Best Band You’ve Never Heard Of: Ume
Best Venue: Doug Fir, but hoping for better bands to play there in 2013.
Up and Coming Venue: Bunk Bar! Surprisingly great bands played there this year and we can’t wait to see more.
Worst Venue: Rotture. Yikes.
Best Set Design: Foster the People
Most Fashionable Band: Santigold at Sasquatch
Most Memorable: Jezabels. It was on a boat a required a costume. We’ll remember it for a long time.
Worst Show: Cold War Kids (they only got one star).
C’s Best Show: Pulp at the Warfield Theater
A’s Best Show: Bon Iver at Sasquatch

Band Highlights
I’m going to give this festival 460 stars, although it’s probably not fair to give an entire festival a star rating. And I’m too lazy to give each band an individual rating. There were about 160 bands, and I saw 36 of them. If each band averages about 10 stars per performance then that adds up to 360 stars. I’ll add an extra 100 stars for Bon Iver. That’s the best I can do.
